Not that this is directly related but, perhaps a parallel example:
I read that last quarter, Toyata was posting some major losses in revenue (I imagine the PR nightmare with brakes, safety, etc... played a role in that.)
You might recall Toyota ran a series of ads saying they were spending $1 million dollars PER HOUR in efforts to research & enact solutions moving forward.
THIS QUARTER: Toyota has reported PROFITS of $2.2 Billion Dollars worldwide (I can't say I know what percentage, if any, relates to sales inside the USA).
So, i'd be interested in seeing BP's numbers one year from now.
I see their "strategy"... we can't allow a short attention span to fall victim to a bit of paid marketing "spin".

Washington Post that an account on one of our favorite Tumblr blogs, Pitchfork Reviews Reviews, was, “basically accurate … but the way he characterizes and attributes the comments and details is mostly inaccurate.” The
post in question is one of our favorites: it describes in unflinching, run-on detail, the day David spent driving in President Obama’s motorcade, “cranking the van speakers,” and asking The President if he had ever heard of Pitchfork.

Ra Ra Riot is an indie rock band from Syracuse, NY that fuses swooning strings and intricate, emotional vocals to create a unique sound. Formed way back in 2006, they got their start doing shows around the Syracuse University campus and eventually moved up to music festivals. Consisting of a vocalist, guitarist, bassist, cellist, violinist, and drummer, they quickly started to grab attention thanks to their energetic live performances and the well-orchestrated layers of their music. RRR use their blog to show fans glimpses into their daily lives and into life on the road as they tour the world. Their second full-length album, The Orchard, drops today.
